Riza Arshad, born in Jakarata, Indonesia, has had extensive training in jazz piano. He started to play professionally at the age of 15. With his brother, Luke, he formed Ragadi, a keyboard-based progressive band that was signed to a major label in Indonesia in the late '70's. Since then Riza has built his credits, which include two solo albums, a dozen-plus albums with prominent Indonesian artists as principal arranger/keyboard player/programmer, numerous jingles for major Indonesian companies, and soundtracks/trailers for Indonesian Television. Riza has toured extensively as a session player with major Indonesian artists. |
